Thanks to the generous support of Bruce Wiltse and Bill Davenport, ESLC and PAE are collaborating once again for an alumni invitational of previous award winners, who’ve been invited to paint properties protected by Eastern Shore Land Conservancy. This year we are focusing on properties that provide public access to nature and that were funded in some way through Maryland’s Program Open Space. Sites include the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center, Oxford Conservation Park, Bohemia River State Park, and Friendship Park in East New Market, Maryland. These paintings have been an essential and meaningful way for ESLC to illustrate our land conservation work. Please join us at the Eastern Shore Conservation Center in July for a free reception and award ceremony for a first look at the paintings, refreshments, and an evening of great conversations on art and conservation. The paintings will then be on display for the duration of the Plein Air Easton Festival, July 17—19 from 10 AM—3 PM each day.
