Autumn Conley was first introduced to ESLC in the Spring of 2023 as an Organizational Intern after she graduated from Shepherd University with her B.S. in Environmental Studies. Following her internship, Autumn completed a one-year term of service with the Chesapeake Conservation and Climate Corps, a program through the Chesapeake Bay Trust that provides support & training to young adults beginning their green careers. As a Corps member, Autumn was placed at ShoreRivers and worked in both the Education and Riverkeeper departments, which further fueled her passion for local conservation. Upon graduating from the Corps, Autumn returned to ELSC as Conservation Assistant in the Fall of 2024. As Conservation Assistant, Autumn’s work primarily pertains to the processing and acquisition of new conservation easement projects across the Eastern Shore.
Autumn is a proud Eastern Shore local with a deep connection to the marshes, streams, forests, and fields that raised her in the Tuckahoe Creek watershed. Autumn recently moved from Queen Anne to Easton. In her free time, you can find her hammocking, reading, painting, sewing, kayaking, hiking, or singing off-key karaoke with her pals.
